The Greenwood Police Department reports that on Tuesday, November 19th, 2019, at approximately 2:24 p.m., Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Ridgeway Drive in reference to an assist to emergency medical services.

Upon arrival, officers located a 63-year-old male lying in the front yard and not breathing. Officers as well as personnel from Lee’s Summit Fire began resuscitation attempts. The victim was transported by Lee’s Summit Fire to nearby a hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.

At this time, the victim’s identity is not being released and there is no further information forthcoming relative to this incident.
