Lee’s Summit Minsky’s owner Steve Parker likes to have a good time with his guests.
Last Sunday, a packed bar at Minsky’s watched the Denver Broncos beat the Pittsburgh Steelers. While the majority of Chiefs fans may have preferred a Bronco loss, those at Minsky’s celebrated the win – all because Parker had made a bet. If the Broncos won, Parker would pay everyone’s tab AND give them $20. A 1-play overtime win and 820 dollars later, the deal was done.
Or maybe the deal is just beginning. On Saturday night. The Broncos and the Patriots take the field, and around Lee’s Summit the Tebow talk is being overtaken by the Minsky’s talk. That’s right –Parker is at it again.
The first 50 people in the door at 11 a.m. will be extremely happy with a Bronco win.
The rules are simple: If the Broncos win, the first 10 people (wristbands will be handed out at the door) will win a year’s supply of Minsky’s pizza plus $50. The next 40 will receive $50.
Prizes will be paid out after a win. There’s no coming back the next day –you must be present to win.
You can leave, but you risk being able to get back in the door later.
