The annual Autism Outreach Fellowship Halloween Pumpkin Party was a huge success Sunday, October 13, 2013 at the Rotary Youth Camp in Lee’s Summit.
Attendees enjoyed hayrides, face painting, horse shoes, sack races, balloon-making clowns, the Prairie Township fire department, Kansas City Zoo animals, refreshments and the always popular hamster balls.
In addition to fun and games, special needs kids and families were able to gather helpful information from a free resource fair.
Autism Outreach Fellowship would like to thank all the volunteers.
Scott Lamaster and his son Jason for their donation of pumpkins, grilling hot dogs and providing their tractor and wagon that Steve Young of Greenwood drove the families around.
Autism Outreach Fellowship organizes and sponsors four free events a year for special needs children and their families. Visit https://www.facebook.com/AustimOutreachFellowship for their next event in December.
