Armed Robbery Thursday Evening in Lee's Summit

Armed Robbery Thursday Evening in Lee's Summit

Lee's Summit Police Department responded to the 800 block of NE Rice Road Thursday evening, Nov. 10, 2011 around 8:50 p.m. on a robbery.

The two victims stated that as they exited a business in the area they were approached by two suspects.  One of the suspects displayed a handgun and demanded property from the victims.

 After taking property from the victims, the suspects fled the area on foot.  The victims were not harmed during the robbery.

The suspects were described as:

Suspect #1: 
White male wearing a gray sweatshirt armed with a handgun

Suspect #2
:  Black male wearing a red polo shirt and dark jacket, 6’0 tall, 180-220 pounds.

Investigation into the incident in on-going.
