Currently, and for the past 12 years, Mr. Lindsey has worked as an educator and debate coach in Kansas City’s metropolitan public school system. Lindsey’s campaign has stressed that education should not be a “one size fits all model.” Mr. Lindsey stated, “At the federal level we should evaluate what is working and develop a model that will reinforce enhanced learning for all Americans.”
Addressing issues with the Affordable Care Act is also a top priority of Lindsey's, "Restoration of our employer based plans that are affordable and private plans that don’t include ridiculous mandates from the federal government is how to best provide for healthcare needs for the American people."
Bill is also focused on bringing jobs back to America to strengthen the national economy. Also, Bill Lindsey advocates ideas that promote economic independence and a livable wage.
If elected, Lindsey pledges to bring common sense to Washington, and work with both parties to create bipartisan solutions on issues. Lindsey says, “I am a person who works well with others. We can always find common ground even with those whom have vastly different ideas.” Bill's primary election is on August 5th.
