Body Found at James A. Reed Wildife Area.

During the evening hours of 6/27/2011, information was received by the Lee’s Summit Police Department regarding a possible body in the wooded area of the James A. Reed Wildlife Area.  Officers responded to the scene and located the body of an adult male.  The identity of the deceased is still being withheld pending identification by the Jackson County Medical Examiner’s Office and family notifications.

The body has been identified as 19 year old Brendon J. Dean, of Lee's Summit, MO. The investigation surrounding his death is still on-going.
