Boil Advisory lifted for Oaks Ridge Meadows in Lee's Summit

July 18, 2012

The City of Lee’s Summit Water Utilities Department has canceled the boil water advisory for the Oaks Ridge Meadows subdivision off Anderson Drive.

Customers no longer need to boil water prior to drinking or cooking as tests on the water show it meets requirements for public drinking water and is safe to drink without boiling.

The boil advisory went into effect on the evening of July 16 following the loss of pressure after a water main break in the Oaks Ridge Meadows subdivision.

Streets affected in the original advisory include:
Anderson Drive, Plantation Lane, Moonlight Meadows, Maybrook, Misty Meadows, Hidden Meadow, N.E. Park Ridge Drive, Coral, Sapphire, Ruby, Turquoise, Pearl, Hidden Ridge Lane, Oaks Ridge Drive, Oaks Ridge Lane, Sunrise Meadows, Velie, Promised View, Northgate Crossing and Emerald.

For more information, please contact the Lee’s Summit Water Utilities Department at 816-969-1900 or visit www.lswater.net.
