BREAKING NEWS: Shooter baricaded in a Lee's Summit home

BREAKING NEWS: Shooter baricaded in a Lee's Summit home

Shooter in area of the 200 Block of NE Orchard St.
A gunman is barricaded in a home, and police have established a perimeter.

Sgt. Chris Depue, Public Information Officer for the Lee's Summit Police Department said,
"One male has been shot and transported to area hospital, his condition is unknown at this time.
the male shooter, has barricaded himself in this home."

Check back for updates.
At approximately 8:40 p.m. the male shooter was taken into custody and then transported
to an area hospital.
