Car And School Bus Collision

On August 31, 2012 at 2:55 p.m. school bus driver,
Gwendolyn Egelston of Lee’s Summit collided with
Sherelle Ledbetter of Lee’s Summit
Ledbetter, in a green 2000 Nissan Maxima, was stopped at the stop sign at 5th and Brentwood facing east on 5th Street. Egelston was attempting to make the left hand turn to go from northbound Brentwood to eastbound 5th Street. She cut the corner too sharply and struck the front end of the Maxima. Egelsont was cited for improper turn.
