Citizen Input Requested On Lee's Summit Stormwater Issues

August 17, 2013

In an effort to obtain estimated costs for all stormwater infrastructure improvements needed throughout the community, the City’s Public Works Department is asking for input from residents.

If you are experiencing house, street or yard flooding, and/or erosion on or near your property, and have not previously reported this issue to the City, please let us know by completing the online questionnaire available at http://cityofls.net/Public-Works/Stormwater-Information-Form.aspx.

If you have contacted the City in the past about stormwater issues, your input was appreciated, and we have documented your concerns.

You can also print the questionnaire by clicking the above link. Return hard copies of the questionnaire to the following address: City of Lee’s Summit Public Works Department, Attention: Stormwater Questionnaire, 220 S.E. Green St., Lee’s Summit, Mo 64063.

Please complete the questionnaire by Friday, September 6, 2013 to ensure the City receives comprehensive information about stormwater infrastructure improvements needed for our community.

For more information, contact Lee’s Summit’s Public Works Department at (816) 969-1800.
