City Crews Preparing for More Snow

February 7, 2014

In preparation for the chance of snow forecast for this weekend, the City of Lee’s Summit’s snow removal crews are treating residential streets today, Feb. 7.

Currently, a crew is scheduled to report to work at 7 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, and Sunday, Feb. 9, to treat main roads and slick spots.

The Snow Desk, available at (816) 969-1870, will open at 7 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

The City will continue to monitor weather and road conditions and make changes to the snow removal operation, accordingly.

Residents are also encouraged to stay up-to-date on weather information by listening to local newscasts.
