City’s Crews Will Pre-treat Streets Early on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013
January 11, 2013
By Melissa Bedford Fears Public Communications Coordinator
In preparation for the potential snowfall forecast for Saturday, Jan. 12, the City of Lee’s Summit’s snow removal crews will begin pre-treating streets at 7 a.m. in the morning.
A winter storm system moving across the region Saturday evening and early overnight will bring the potential for flurries and light snow.
The City’s crews will continue to monitor the weather and adjust snow removal operations as needed.
You may call the Snow Desk at (816) 969-1870. Normal business hours are 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
During winter storm events, the Snow Desk operates 24 hours a day.
