Babysitter Boot Camp offered by Lee's Summit Parks & Rec

Basic training for youth (ages ten to seventeen) aspiring to babysit is set for Saturday, March 10, 9am – 2:30pm.
Lee's Summit Parks & Recreation will guarantee that new recruits will learn how to play effectively with children of all ages, prepare chow, manage lights-out, discipline, personal and child safety, first aid and CPR. Participants will also prepare business cards, create a marketing plan and determine how to prepare for any sitting job.
Participants need to bring a sack lunch and drink. Dismissed! Boot Camp will be held at Harris Park Community Center, 110 SW Blue Parkway.
Pre-registration is required and may be done by calling 816-969-1500 or online at www.lsparks.net. Registration fee is $25 per person, space is limited.
