Flipping The Switch On Green Living

Gary and Trish Walker, The King and Queen of Green, owners of Magic Touch Cleaning, Inc. and Bullseye International, Inc. flip the switch on their re-furbished space featuring over $80,000 in solar panels. June 21, approximately 100 guests celebrated with the couple at their ‘Flip the Switch Party’ enjoying food, wine and beer from local vendors.
Since converting to solar, their first energy bill from KCP&L reflected a $23 credit. Walker said, “I expect to see between a $150 and $200 credit each month for the excess energy we give back. We are currently in the process of changing out all of the lighting in our facilities to led which will again generate substantial savings.
“Next up will be our own line of natural cleaning products. The Kings Car Care products will include glass cleaner and tire dressing,” Walker continued. “Our other new product line will be the Queen of Green’s Home products.”
