The intersection of 3rd and Douglas never looked so good. This historic intersection formerly known as the Midland Capitol Highway is now home to beautiful planters that were installed by The Artful Gardner. The Beautification Committee and Lee's Summit Parks and Rec along with the City of Lee's Summit were responsible for the newest addition to downtown Lee's Summit. Kathy Mobley was taking a picture of the company's masterpiece for their records. Mobley and Martha Hamblen are the owners of this progressive landscaping company.
