Lee's Summit High School opened their new Tiger Training Facility Wednesday January 26. This facility was built as phase one of the multi-use physical education/activity/athletic no-tax-increase bond project that was approved by voters April 6, 2010, and will immediately house seven sections of physical education as well as numerous student-athletes participating in extra-curricular activities.
Students began using the facility on Wednesday with PE classes and student athletes participating in winter conditioning. A tour was later conducted prior to the Lee's Summit v Lee's Summit North basketball double header with the Lee's Summit North women winning their game and the Lee's Summit Men winning their game.
