Lee’s Summit Medical Center Welcomes Aruna Rokkam, MD

Lee’s Summit Medical Center, part of HCA Midwest Health System—Kansas City’s largest healthcare network and private-sector employer—announces five physicians joining its staff. Heath Parker, DO; Adam J. Henson, DO; Kristi Trimm, DO; David Rios, MD, FACC; and Aruna Rokkam, MD, offer a diverse range of medical expertise for people living and working in Lee’s Summit and surrounding communities.
Drs. Trimm, Rios and Rokkam are part of Midwest Physicians, which is part of HCA Midwest Health System. Midwest Physicians is a network of experienced, multi-specialty physicians located throughout the Greater Kansas City metropolitan area.

Dr. Rokkam of Midwest Cancer Care, part of Midwest Physicians, is board certified in internal medicine, hematology and oncology. She has an extensive background in various topics of cancer research and specific clinical interests in breast and gastrointestinal cancers. Dr. Rokkam is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology. She received her medical degree at Siddhartha Medical College NTR University of Health Sciences in India and completed a residency at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, Md. She completed a clinical fellowship in hematology/oncology at Washington University in St. Louis, Mo.
