Lee’s Summit Native Joins The Staff Of The Summit Church

August 9, 2014

The Summit (Lee’s Summit United Methodist Church) recently announced the addition of Ryan Schreckenghaust to the ministry team. Ryan will serve as the Lead Associate Pastor alongside The Summit’s Senior Pastor, Jim Preisig, and the other pastors on staff. In his role as Lead Associate Pastor, Ryan will fulfill pastoral duties as well as oversee the church’s communications and missions departments.

Ryan is a 1997 graduate of Lee’s Summit High School. His post-graduate studies include a Bachelor of Arts degree from William Jewell College and a Master’s degree in Ministry Leadership from Rockbridge Seminary. He brings 12 years of experience of ministry in various areas including youth ministry, creative arts, outreach, communications and strategic leadership.

“We are thrilled to have Ryan join our ministry team at The Summit Church,” said Jim Preisig, Senior Pastor. “Ryan brings such a heart for Christ and the church, an incredible passion for people, and the gifts and graces to help us touch hearts and lives in Lee’s Summit and beyond.”

Ryan, his wife Rebekah and sons Jackson and Camden make their home in Lee’s Summit.
