It may feel like winter break just ended but spring break is around the corner and now is the time to plan some fun for your child. Lee’s Summit Parks & Recreation is offering Animal Wonders Spring Break Camp March 11 – 15 from 9am to 12pm.
This exciting camp allows kids ages five through twelve to get up close and personal with live examples and learn about the lives of animals from tiny insects to exotic birds and mammals. New topics will be covered each day. Students will learn about animal care, behaviors, ecosystems, terminology, and perform age appropriate experiments.
The camp will be held at Legacy Park Community Center at 901 NE Bluestem Drive in Lee’s Summit. Register by February 17 to receive the Early Bird pricing of $75 per child. Call Lee’s Summit Parks & Recreation at 816.969.1500 or register online at www.lsparks.net
