The annual “Cops on Top” event at Habanero’s Restaurant in Lee’s Summit. Sgt. Brian Wilson and Officer Jeremy Brownlee will climb to the roof of the restaurant at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 19th, 2012 and they will not come down until they reach their fund raising goal. Habanero's will be donating 10% of all our sales for the day of the event. Plan to have lunch or dinner and donate to a great cause.
"My Super Plunge page should reflect a little over $19,000 on Thursday morning. My goal for "Cops on Top" will be to reach the $24,000 mark! Donation can be made directly by visiting www.somo.org/bigheadwilson," Sgt. Wilson stated.
The Lee’s Summit Police Department is proud of the support it has given to Special Olympics over the years. This year, the Lee’s Summit Police Department is continuing that tradition and expanding its fund raising efforts for Special Olympics.
