Students create their own artwork on the sidewalk Tribune Photo/Jason Reeder By Jessica Root Intern Reporter for the Tribune intern@lstribune.net
Last weekend, the annual Longview Art and World Music Festival was hosted at the New Longview Commercial District. Spectators had the opportunity of purchasing artwork from over 90 regional and local artists specially selected by Summit Art.
Local high school students also participated in the Chalk Walk. Several small non-amplified musical groups also performed. All booths had electricity once again. There was also a narrated hayride offered for spectators to learn the 97 year history of the Longview property.
Overall, the event was a success; despite the cold chill of fall weather.
