Mini Cheer Clinic Offered At Summit Christian Academy in Lee's Summit

January 12, 2013

Summit Christian Academy (SCA) is
offering a mini cheer clinic for K-6 grade
girls in the Lee’s Summit community who
are interested in the fundamentals of cheerleading.

Participants will learn proper cheer techniques, fundamentals of stunting, and a routine they will perform during a high school basketball game.

The mission of this clinic is to provide an enthusiastic introduction to cheerleading and mold participants into becoming energetic cheerleaders.

The Mini Cheer Clinic will be held at Summit Christian Academy, 1450 SW Jefferson, on January 17, 22, and 24 from 5:30-7 p.m.

Cost of the clinic is $35 per student and each participant will receive a t-shirt.  Cheerleaders will showcase their routine at the SCA High School basketball games on Friday, January 25 at 6:30 and 8 p.m.

The clinic coordinators are Sarah McLelland (High School Cheerleading Coordinator), Nicole Cox (Varsity Cheer Coach) and Angie McKay (Junior High Cheer Coach).

The instructors will include the SCA Varsity High School Cheerleaders.

To enroll in this mini cheer clinic, visit:  www.summit-christian-academy.org and complete the forms or stop by 1450 SW Jefferson.
