Six Lee’s Summit R-7 School District high school seniors were recently named December Optimist Students of the Month by the Lee’s Summit Breakfast Optimist Club. The club honors six seniors each month for outstanding scholarship and citizenship.
Recognized students for December were Nikki Perrilloux, Lee’s Summit High School; Wes Orth, LSHS; Olivia Wheat, Lee’s Summit North High School; Patrick Graham, LSNHS; Rylie Buehrig, Lee’s Summit West High School; and Talon Townley, LSWHS.
Rylie Buehrig, daughter of Tracey and Donnie Buehrig, has been active in robotics, symphony orchestra, musicals and National Honor Society. After high school, Rylie plans to attend a university to major in applied physics.
