Summit Christian Academy Offers ACT Prep Workshop

Summit Christian Academy (SCA) is offering a two-day ACT Preparatory Workshop for students interested in preparing for the college admissions ACT test.
The workshop will be held on Saturdays, August 18 & 25, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at SCA (1500 SW Jefferson in Lee’s Summit).
The next ACT community testing date is Saturday, September 8. The ACT workshop is open to any students in the community (students do NOT need to be enrolled at SCA to attend).
The August 18 workshop will cover strategies for each of the four subject areas included on the test along with review and practice material for the English and math portions.
The August 25 workshop will provide practice on the science portion, as well as a full-length mock ACT exam.
Mrs. Ruth Terry, an SCA instructor and former college professor with over 15 years of teaching experience, is the instructor for the ACT course. Cost is $100 plus the cost of the workbook. Register before August 10 by calling 816-525-1480 or emailing rterry@sca-kc.org. Space is limited.
