Take a Picture with Santa for a Cause on Saturday
November 14, 2012
You can get your picture taken with the famous Facebook Santa for a cause from 10am to 2pm on Saturday, Nov. 17th at Chick-fil-a on 690 Northwest Blue Parkway, Lee's Summit, MO 64086. The cause is the Hope Tree, an organization that seeks to provide services and occupational and physical therapy to local children with special needs.
Suggested donation is $8 for beautiful, full-size digital images (with unlimited rights to reproduce and share on social media). “No funny hoops to jump through, or additional purchase necessary,” says Corrie Manigold, founder of The Hope Tree. “This is an opportunity to get a jump on the holidays by taking your family picture with Santa.” Santa is Steve Dailey, a Lee’s Summit resident who has a Facebook fan page with over 40,000 fans from all over the world.
“The Hope Tree is near to my heart with service to children with special needs,” says Dailey. “I hope to see a lot of families at the newly opened Chick-fil-a on Saturday.” Everyone who has their picture taken will also be entered in a drawing to win prizes such as original artwork. Services will be provided by Manigold Photography.
