TOSHIBA BUSINESS SOLUTIONS CELEBRATES GRAND OPENING
The grand opening of Toshiba Business Solutions new location in Lee’s Summit, will be celebrated with an official ribbon cutting ceremony Thursday, June 11th at 9:00 a.m. followed by a $10,000 check presentation to Children’s Mercy Hospital’s Child Life Department. Open House from 10am-6pm, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Luau luncheon 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Drinks and live music start at 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The entire community is invited to attend.
The check presentation of $10,000 will help Children’s Mercy Hospital’s Child Life Department secure much needed entertainment and supplies for patients, including: the creation of Fun Centers, which offer movies and video games at the patient’s bedside and during exams; hospital scrapbooks that help to explain the hospital and many of the tests/routines children will undergo; infant equipment including swings, bouncers, and play mats; movies and video games; and Shadow Buddies – dolls that are personalized to match a child’s injuries/illnesses and provide a friend going through the same treatment.
