CORRECTION: PRICE CHOPPER, 300 BLOCK SW BLUE PARKWAY IMPROPERLY LISTED AS A CITED BUSINESS IN ALCOHOL “STING” OPERATION

On 9/29/2010 the Lee’s Summit Missouri Police Department released information regarding a quarterly alcohol “sting” operation that was conducted. The press release incorrectly listed the business of Price Chopper, located in the 300 block of SW Blue Parkway as being cited for an illegal sale. That information was incorrect and the listed business should have been Hy Vee #2, located in the 300 block of SW Ward Road.
The corrected list of cited businesses is listed below.
Citations were issued to business clerks at stores in the 1600 block of NE Douglas Street (Valero), 900 block of NE Woods Chapel Road (Price Chopper), 100 Block of SE Todd George Parkway (Temp Stop), 3300 block of SW 3rd Street (CVS Pharmacy), and the 300 block of SW Ward Road (Hy Vee #2).
