DICK’S Sporting Goods to Host Grand Opening

DICK’S Sporting Goods will host a two-day celebration in Lee’s Summit to mark the Grand Opening of the new Summit Fair location, 840 NW Blue Parkway. 

The store was originally located in Summit Woods Crossing. Product giveaways, demonstrations by industry experts, and activities for attendees of all ages will continue throughout the weekend.

The celebration begins Saturday, April 22 when doors open at 9 a.m. 

Doors open again on Sunday, April 23 at 10 a.m.

Guests in line early on Saturday will get a chance to open the DICK’S Sporting Goods Gift Locker at 8:45 am. The first 100 people in line at DICK’S will receive a free Adidas Go-To Performance T-Shirt.

On Sunday, guests in line early will get a chance to open the DICK’S Sporting Goods Gift Locker at 9:45 a.m. The first 100 adults in line will receive a free Mystery Gift Card ranging in value from $10 to $500, with one person receiving the $500 card.

Kids between the ages of six and 15 years of age can participate in the Ready, Set, Roll! Challenge on Sunday between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. Kids will be challenged in speed, strength, and agility. Prizes will be awarded after completion of the challenge.
