‘Dig into Reading’ with the Colbern Road Library and Lee’s Summit Water Utilities

May 25, 2013

Join the Colbern Road branch of the Mid-Continent Public Library and Lee’s Summit Water Utilities from 10 a.m. to noon May 30 for the library’s summer reading program kick-off party at the library located at 100 N.E. Colbern Road, Lee’s Summit.

This year’s summer reading program theme is “Dig into Reading” and to help kick it off, Lee’s Summit Water Utilities will be bringing a backhoe and hydro-excavator machine for families to explore. Don’t forget the cameras!

The backhoe and hydro excavator are used by Water Utilities crews to dig up water mains and sewer lines when repairs are needed. For more information, call the library at 816-525-9924 or visit www.mymcpl.org.
