Christine Cooper-Chub, massage therapist and owner That Healing Feeling in Lee's Summit, Missouri is a very lucky woman. “I love what I do and am so very fortunate to be able to make a living at my passion, doing what I love. It is really important that when you pick a job, you do it to the best of your ability, every day. People deserve your best; it’s what they pay for.”
Massage is one of the oldest healing arts having been documented as far back as 3,000 years ago. Hippocrates recommended the use of rubSpecialbing and friction for joint and circulatory problems. A core belief for Christine is that “ diseasement in the soul causes disease in the body” and her mission is to heal. She works to help her clients understand that massage therapy is a way to keep healthy. Each client fills out an assessment form which she then uses to customize the days session providing just what the client needs at that time in their life. She uses a variety of massage techniques; Swedish, deep tissue, reike, reflexology and more. And she makes use of aromatherapy and hot and cold stones in each of her massages. When you leave the Wellness Center you indeed have that Healing Feeling. Christine believes “the world would be a more peaceful, loving place if every one in the world got regular massages”. That Healing Feeling Wellness Center has been a fixture in Lee’s Summit for eleven years, six in Downtown and for five years now at 706 SE 3rd St. The summer hours are Wednesday through Saturday with late appointments available on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Winter hours are the same with the addition of Tuesdays. It is important to call for an appointment at 816 246-9355. Bath and body products are also available at the Center
