Have you reached a time in your life where you are considering moving to a maintenance provided home? Or perhaps you are a career driven couple who cherishes their free time as a family. Whatever your circumstances, Easy Lifestyle Living may be the solution for you.
Easy Lifestyle Living is the brain child of Lee’s Summit builder and developer Ben Sharp. He has built more than 1000 homes in the Kansas City metro area and several have been maintenance-provided. Actually, Ben built the first maintenance-provided homes in Jackson County back in the 1980’s.
Armed with a concept he believes in, the fact that by the year 2020 the population aged 65 and older will have doubled from today and the recessive economy’s impact on home prices, Ben sought a solution for our aging population’s peace of mind.
He pulled together those he trusts in the building industry starting with his longtime associate Ed Fitzgerl. Ed who has his own remodeling business was Ben’s superintendent as they built 120 homes in Raintree. Joining them is Wade Minor who has known Ben since he was a child. Wade retired from UPS and now rehabs houses. After 30 plus years building homes, these men have worked with a lot of sub-contractors. They know who does outstanding work and who to trust.
They have pulled together a team to meet all your needs, from hauling boxes up from the basement for your garage sale to a new roof, foundation repair, remodeling or simply mowing your lawn. Easy Lifestyle Living has you covered. You get complete home maintenance in your existing home.
“Peace of Mind” is important to Ben and he seeks to provide that to his customers. He talks of the couple who had decided that they could no longer remain in their home and had contacted a realtor. They were looking for an apartment, but upon learning about this service are happily staying in the home they love, in the neighborhood they prefer.
As they began this endeavor, they quickly saw the potential for a wider audience with working families, single women and others. Again, “Peace of Mind” knowing there is someone you trust to service your needs.
These services are being offered at builder’s cost plus 5%. There is a small monthly fee ($25) to offset overhead costs such as office expense, inspectors, permits, etc. All services are priced and approved by the homeowner and provided by licensed, insured contractors. Surprisingly, there is no contract, simply a gentleman’s handshake.
