Emergency response exercises need volunteers for role play April 20
April 7, 2011
Three local health departments in the Kansas City metropolitan area are recruiting volunteers to participate in an emergency response exercise to test the capability of our region to dispense medications to large numbers of people quickly in a public health emergency. The volunteers will be asked to role play as members of the public going through the clinic sites. No actual medications will be dispensed. Volunteers can come and go as they need within the given clinic hours listed below. Confirmation of participation will be available at each site. The following are locations and hours for the dispensing sites being tested during this exercise.
Clay County, MO
Role playing volunteers are asked to report to one of the three sites between 10:00 a.m. and noon. Please check in at the clinic entrance.

Role playing volunteers are asked to participate in a drive-thru clinic between 10 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Please check in with the Volunteer/Staff Coordinator at the concession stand/restroom shelter at the site.
