Freddy’s Fifth KC Metro Location Opens In Lee’s Summit

January 18, 2014

Steaming steakburgers, piping-hot shoestring fries and creamy frozen custard are all available in Lee’s Summit as of Wednesday, January 15, 2014 as Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers opened its new location at 194 NW Oldham Parkway in the Summit Shopping Center. This is the fifth Freddy’s for the Kansas City metropolitan area.

"Freddy’s is a great fit for guests of all ages, whether dining solo, with a few friends or family members or with a large group," COO Scott Redler said. "With guest service and cleanliness standards that lead the industry, we hope to be a convenient option for families in the Lee’s Summit area, as well as our neighbors in nearby communities taking the short drive on Hwy 50."

Formerly the site of Waid’s Restaurant, the all-new Freddy’s features abundant indoor seating, patio access and drive-thru service. Freddy’s menu includes a variety of delicious cooked-to order selections, including the fan-favorite Double California Burger, as well as tasty Vienna-beef hotdogs and the ever-popular Freddy’s fries. The rich and creamy frozen custard is a must-have, whether served in a dish or cone, or crafted into one of Freddy’s specialty desserts such as the Signature Turtle Concrete and the delicious Peanut Butter Cup & Banana Sundae.

"We serve the highest quality food that’s prepared fresh after it’s ordered," Redler said. "With an atmosphere that’s genuinely relaxed and friendly, we invite our guests to taste the Freddy’s Great American Menu and savor our one-of-a-kind ‘Taste That Brings You Back’."
