Freezin' for a Reason Ride to benefit the Special Olympics, Sgt. Brian Wilson of Lee's Summit Police Department
BENEFIT: All proceeds to benefit Special Olympics Missouri START: 1:30pm from Gail's Harley Davidson STOP: Longview Lake Beach END: Stuey McBrew's downtown Lee's Summit
It's time to bring out the toys and do something extreme to shake off the winter blues. Be a part of the first annual Freezin' for a Reason Ride to benefit the Special Olympics! The Special Olympics sponsors sporting events year round for their athletes, shouldn't our toys be enjoyed year round as well. So join us for a ride you will talk about the rest of the year.
Saturday, January 22nd the fun starts at Gail's Harley Davidson (71Hwy/ 150 Hwy) at 11:00 am. Lunch and registration from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. The ride will leave Gail's Harley Davidson at 1:30 pm with a police escort. The ride will take the group to the Longview Lake Beach for a group photo. The ride will continue to the Historic Downtown Lee's Summit area and conclude at Stuey McBrew's where fun will continue with an auction.
This extreme ride is open to ALL motorcycles, Jeeps, convertibles, Hot Rods, and anything that you can drive your big heart to help the Special Olympics support the athletes in our area. http://www.bigheadwilson.com/images/FREEZIN_RegistrationFlyer.pdf by January 18th to guarantee your shirt size.
Registration cost, $24, will include lunch and a commemorative shirt to prove you're just as extreme as your toy! Additional shirts can be ordered for only $20 before the event. If you choose to register online via the Bighead's Special Olympic page be sure note your shirt size in the comment section.
If you would prefer to mail your donation you can send your completed registration form and check to the Lee's Summit Police Department, c/o Sgt. Brian "Bighead" Wilson, 10 NE Tudor RD, Lee's Summit, MO 64086.

You can also register and pay in person on the day of the ride, however we may not be able to guarantee shirt size and availability.

________________________________________ Tuesday, January 25th Red Door Wine Store - will host a wine tasting from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a portion of the sales going to SO. EVERY Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday during the month of January - Mirchies will donate a portion of the sales to Special Olympics.
