Ginger Bliss Named Carondelet Health’s Vice President Of Strategic Planning and Business Development
Carondelet Health welcomes Ginger L. Bliss as its Vice President of Strategic Planning and Business Development. Bliss leads the organization’s strategy and growth efforts and oversees marketing, planning and public relations functions. “We are thrilled to have Ginger with Carondelet Health,” says Fleury Yelvington, president and CEO of Carondelet Health. “Her expertise and the passion she brings to our ministry will help us in our quest to transform the delivery of healthcare.” Bliss brings many years of healthcare experience to Carondelet Health. Most recently, she was the Vice President of Business Development for Menorah Medical Center. She has also worked for the Kansas City Cancer Center, Shawnee Mission Medical Center and HealthNet, Inc. a managed care company. She also held positions in communications and public relations with the Kansas City, Missouri, School District and the University of Kansas Athletics Department. “Being in a faith-based organization is important to me,” says Bliss. “Carondelet Health has a strong reputation for providing high-quality, compassionate care and I feel privileged to be a part of that tradition.” Bliss has a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communications from Kansas State University and a Master’s Degree in Health Service Management from Webster University. She’s active in many community organizations including formerly serving on the boards of the Leawood Chamber of Commerce and the Blue Valley Educational Foundation. In 2004, Bliss was recognized as one of Kansas City’s “40 Under 40” leaders by Ingram’s Magazine. Bliss lives in Overland Park with her husband, Matt, and 13-year-old daughter, Kylee.
