Godspell Auditions

April 12, 2014

The Summit Theatre Group is bringing the Book of Matthew to Lee’s Summit with a slight twist. This well known tale will be set to a rock n’ roll score composed by Stephen Schwartz (Prince of Egypt, Pippin, and Wicked). However, before this show can hit the stage, the right cast members must be found.

Preliminary auditions take place Friday, April 18 from 6 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, April 19 from 9 a.m. to noon as the First Baptist Church of Lee’s Summit located at 2 NE Douglas St.

It is a quick turn around for callback auditions which take place Saturday, April 19 from 1 to 4 p.m.

Rehearsals begin in late May in order to prepare for opening night on August 7 at Lee’s Summit Christian Church.
