On August 15, statewide GOP candidates stopped by the Jackson County Headquarters at 611 SW 3rd Street in Lee’s Summit. Senator Roy Blunt and Governor Nominee Dave Spence headlined the exciting event. Joining them was State Auditor Tom Schweich; Lt. Governor Peter Kinder; Shane Shoeller, candidate for Secretary of State; Cole McNary, candidate for Treasurer and Jacob Turk, candidate for Congress, 5th District. Jackson County citizens supported the Republican campaign by making phone calls and knocking on doors.
