Greenwood: Stolen Heavy Equipment

February 15, 2014

On the morning of February 9, 2014 the Hamblen Rd construction area was entered by multiple suspects. Thefts may have occurred between 3:00 and 5:00 a.m. The vehicle and trailer used by suspects is a white Ford F-150, model year late 90’s to early 2000. The Ford truck is an extended cab with dark tinted windows, chrome wheels, and low profile tires. The trucks bumper is damaged and folded under the rear of the truck. The trailer is a red 16’ to 18’ tandem axle trailer with black wheels. The tongue of the trailer is twisted from sliding into a ditch.

The "breaker" stolen is a Caterpillar Model H115C, black, with Cat logo. The breaker is approximately 5 foot long, 1 foot wide and has a chisel end that is approximately 18 inches long. There were two hydraulic hoses attached to the breaker.

A Vibratory Plate Compactor that attaches to a large implement was also stolen. The compactor is a HED brand. The base is 24 inches long and 24 inches wide. "GBE" will be welded into the compactor. The compactor has a homemade coupler. Also stolen were two insulated concrete blankets measuring 12 foot wide and 20 foot long. Both pieces of equipment may have "Foley Equipment Rental" plates attached to them.

Please make contact with Greenwood Police Department if any of the stolen items or information about them has been obtained.
