Jackson County Court Voluntary Retirement/Resignation Incentive ProgramResults

As part of the Court’s effort to reduce its 2010 budget request to Jackson County, the Court offered to a group of

County-paid Court employees, incentives to retire or resign as of today, July 1, 2009.  Out of the employees who applied to voluntarily retire or resign, the Court has accepted twenty applications.  Because of the number of volunteers who came forward, no involuntary cuts are planned at this time.  Because both the County and State budgets are uncertain, however, the Court cannot know what even the very near future holds in regard to staffing.
