KCPCU To Host 2nd Annual Jeff Taylor Run In Riverside

September 8, 2012

The 2nd Annual Jeff Taylor Run for S.A.F.E. will be held on October 14, 2012, in Riverside, Missouri. This 5k/10k run/walk event is in memory of Jeff Taylor, the Riverside Police Officer who died while conducting search and rescue operations after the Joplin tornado in spring 2011.

In honoring Taylor’s memory, this event will benefit the Surviving Spouse and Family Endowment Fund, “S.A.F.E.” Administered by the Kansas City Crime Commission, this fund provides emotional and financial support to those families of Law Enforcement Officers, Firefighters and Emergency Services Personnel in the Kansas City metropolitan area who have lost their lives while protecting our community.

The Jeff Taylor Run will be held at E. H. Young Riverfront Park in Riverside, Missouri. For more information and to register, visit www.jefftaylorrun.com.

The K.C. Police Credit Union is a not-for-profit member-owned financial institution. We welcome all public safety employees and their family members in the Kansas City metro area (including Kansas), or anywhere in the state of Missouri. We are the only Kansas City credit union dedicated to serving public safety agencies, and have been for over 75 years
