KCPCU To Host 2nd Annual Jeff Taylor Run In Riverside

Sept 22, 2012

The 2nd Annual Jeff Taylor Run for S.A.F.E. will be held on
October 14, 2012, in Riverside, Missouri.

This 5k/10k run/walk event is in memory of Jeff Taylor, the Riverside Police Officer who died while conducting search and rescue operations after the Joplin tornado in spring 2011.

In honoring Taylor’s memory, this event will benefit the Surviving Spouse and Family Endowment Fund, “S.A.F.E.” Administered by the Kansas City Crime Commission, this fund provides emotional and financial support to those families of Law Enforcement Officers, Firefighters and Emergency Services Personnel in the Kansas City metropolitan area who have lost their lives while protecting our community.

The Jeff Taylor Run will be held at E. H. Young Riverfront Park in Riverside, Missouri.
