Kidz Bop Announces 2012 KIDZ Star USA Talent Search Top 8 Finalists.

Kidz Bop, the #1 music brand for kids ages five-12 in the U.S., announced the Top 8 finalists for its 2012 KIDZ Star USA Talent Search. KIDZ Star USA is the premier national talent competition for kids and teens ages 15 and under and this year nearly 50,000 kids from across the country entered. Now, eight talented young singers: Ally Bross (14, Windermere, FL), Jayna Elise Brown (10, Laurel, MO), Rylie Brown (15 Lee’s Summit, MO), Kyle Lambdin (12, Leesburg, NJ), Kisione Lelea Fonua (11, Phoenix, AZ), Dallas W. McFadden (14, Dallas TX), Concettina Siciliano (11, Lincroft, NJ), and Lauren Taveras (13, Burbank, CA), are competing for a chance to win a recording contract with RCA Records, a starring role in a music video and a guest spot in the next KIDZ BOP TV commercial.
The eight finalists will fly to Los Angeles in October to star in a reality web series produced by Electus where they’ll showcase their talent as they compete to become the next KIDZ Star. The KIDZ Star USA web series will be available on VEVO this fall. Multi-Platinum selling recording artist, Gavin DeGraw, is this year’s celebrity mentor. Last year’s winner, Kiana Brown, released her debut single this summer “HEY CHICA” on RCA Records.
“First of all, it's completely insane, and I am so blessed. I've have been told ‘no’ by so many people for so long, but I believe it was all for a good reason. God definitely knows what he's doing with my life, and I trust him completely and 100%. I've been waiting my whole life for a chance this perfect, and now that I've gotten it, I honestly can't even fathom that it's reality. I'm going to be practicing my tush off for the next few days. I'm most excited to show other young kids that anyone can follow their dreams if they're willing to put their all into it. At the end of the day, that's what matters most to me. That I could inspire somebody else by doing what I love,” Lee’s Summit Top 8 finalist, Rylie Brown said.
