Car Crash At Lake Lotawana

The Lake Lotawana Police Department worked a serious injury two car motor vehicle accident on 7 Hwy between Gates 5 & 6 on the afternoon of March 25, 2015. 

The driver of the striking vehicle was north bound on 7 Hwy. It appears the driver of the north bound vehicle crossed the center line and struck an oncoming heavy duty work truck almost head on. 

The driver of the work truck received minor injuries and was transported by ambulance to the hospital where he was treated and released that evening. 

The driver of the striking vehicle was transported by Life Flight Eagle in critical condition. The driver of the striking vehicle is a 36 year old white male that resides in Grandview. The driver of the work truck is a 60 year old white male that resides in Windsor, MO. 

The hospital was contacted by the Lake Lotawana Police Department the morning of March 26, 2015 and the condition of the driver of the striking vehicle is listed as critical but stable.

Names have not been release due to notification to all of the family.
