Jackson County Circuit Court Rules Votes Not to Be Counted for Thomas Strannigan

March 31, 2017

Wendy Hayworth
Tribune Reporter

The Independence Jackson County Circuit Court  ruled on March 31, 2017 that the following sign be placed at each polling location where the race for mayor of Lake Lotawana appears on the ballot:

Thomas Strannigan is NOT a qualified candidate for Lake Lotawana, MO Mayor.

Votes cast for Thomas Strannigan will not be reported per court order issued March 31, 2017 by the Jackson County Circuit Court.

The court order also prevents the release of information concerning the number of votes cast for Thomas Strannigan and from certifying any votes cast for Strannigan.
