Lee’s Summit Car Crash at Chipman and Howard Roads Involved Small Child

Lee's Summit Police Department

At 4:30 p.m., this afternoon a white, Jeep Grand Cherokee was travelling through the parking lot of an apartment complex when the child darted out in front of her and was struck. The child is approximately 5 years of age and has non-life threatening injuries; he was alert and conscious when transported from the scene.

Lee's Summit Police Department continues to investigation the crash at this time.
