LEE'S SUMMIT FIRE DEPARTMENT ALERT~WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT

WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 7 PM CDT SUNDAY...

.A WINTER STORM WILL IMPACT THE ENTIRE AREA TONIGHT AND CONTINUE THROUGH THE DAY SUNDAY.

THIS STORM HAS THE POTENTIAL TO BRING SIGNIFICANT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS WITH A BROAD SWATH OF 6 TO 9 INCHES WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS.

THE HEAVIEST SNOWFALL WILL FALL ALONG AND SOUTH OF THE I-70 CORRIDOR.
STAY ALERT TO THE LATEST FORECAST INFORMATION.

Instructions:

A WINTER STORM WARNING FOR HEAVY SNOW MEANS SEVERE WINTER WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED OR OCCURRING.

SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF SNOW ARE FORECAST THAT WILL MAKE TRAVEL DANGEROUS. ONLY TRAVEL IN AN EMERGENCY. IF YOU MUST TRAVEL.

KEEP AN EXTRA FLASHLIGHT... FOOD...AND WATER IN YOUR VEHICLE IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY.
