Lee's Summit Historical Society Gears Up for Serious Competition

April 22, 2017

The Lee's Summit Historical Society will host a Trivia Contest on April 27, 2017 at the V.F.W. Hall located at 329 SE Douglas in Lee's Summit. Team registration begins at 6:15 p.m.; questions start at 7 p.m.

Teams of up to eight people per team can register to play for just $80 per team. For $20 more, each team can purchase the competition package which includes two Mulligans (turn an incorrect answer into a correct answer,) one double-down per round (double the score on one question,) and a bucket of popcorn. The bucket of popcorn is not intended to make teams ore competitive, but organizers believe that it cannot hurt.

Trivia categories include Lee's Summit History, Border War, U.S. and World History, Sports History, and Entertainment History. Spectators are welcome for $3 each person. A silent auction, snacks, a cash bar, and prizes will be available.
