Lee's Summit man has been charged with two felonies in connection with a sex case

A Lee's Summit man has been charged with two felonies in connection with a sex case in which a Lee's Summit police officer posed undercover as a 13-yea- old girl, Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker announced today.
Brian E. Lucy, 54 (dob: 11/30/1959), faces a count of Attempted Enticement of a Child and another count of Sexual Misconduct Involving a Child.*
According to court records, a witness alerted police that a man had inquired in an online discussion about having sex with her 13-year-old daughter. A police officer then posed as the girl and engaged online in a sexual discussion with Lucy, then arranged to meet him at a park, where he was taken into custody.
Lucy was being held late Friday on a $100,000 bond. *Charges
are merely accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent unless
and until he has been found guiilty or has pleaded guilty.
