Jeremy W. Combs, 30 is facing up to 10 years in prison after a midnight visit to Taco Bell at 615 NW Libby Lane. Combs placed an order in the drive-through.
After getting home and discovering his order was missing the hot sauce he requested, he then returned to the restaurant.
According to court documents, Combs handed the incorrect order to the Taco Bell employee and “then reached for a shotgun, which had shells on the side.” The employee told police he fled away from the drive-through window after seeing the gun.
Police went to Combs’ home and found him “highly intoxicated,” according to court records. After initially denying leaving home, he later said he had taken a tire iron to the Taco Bell. A loaded shotgun was found in his bedroom.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office Combs had three felony convictions and was not allowed to have a firearm. He was charged in federal court as felon in possession of a firearm. He also faces state charges.
