Lee's Summit Police Investigating  Overnight Armed Robbery

On September 5th at approximately 2:00 a.m. officers were called to the Temp Stop in the 1100 block of NE Rice Road in regards to an armed robbery. 

The preliminary investigation revealed that a single suspect entered the store, produced a gun and demanded money from the clerk. 

After obtaining an undetermined amount of cash, the suspect fled the store on foot.  The suspect is described as a white male approximately 5'5 wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt.

No injuries were reported and anyone with information is asked to call the Tips Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477)
